Who publishes CupTune
CupTune is published under the CupTune name alone; no individual is named as its author. Pages are drafted with AI assistance and checked against their sources, the recipe validator and the calculators’ tests before they ship, as the editorial policy sets out in full. The contact page is the way to reach the publisher.
What CupTune is
Two things that work as one. The first is an illustrated atlas of recipes, from a pour over to a London Fog, each written as steps with grams and times. The second is a companion for the brew itself: a timer that shows one step at a time, a journal that keeps what happened, and a dial-in guide that suggests one change for the next cup.
How the pages and pictures are made
A recipe’s numbers sit in one record, and the page, the timer and the drawing are all built from it, so the layers drawn in a glass match the grams in the text. The pictures are drawings, not photographs. Formulas are listed on the method page.
No account as a product decision
The journal is local because bean notes and taste ratings do not need a remote identity. You can use every core tool without signing in, uploading a recipe or accepting advertising.
Repeatability over authority
CupTune does not score a brewer or claim one cup is objectively correct. It helps make a repeatable plan, record the outcome and isolate the next change.
What is deliberately absent
No cloud sync, Bluetooth control, photo analysis, push notifications or artificial-intelligence diagnosis exists in this release. Those features would expand the data and reliability boundary without improving the core loop.
