The coffee you are brewing
Days off roast count from the roast date on the bag, with the roast day as day 0. The bands are CupTune’s rule of thumb for whole beans, not a measurement of your coffee: resting to day 3, peak from day 4 to 30, fading from day 31 to 60 and stale after day 60. Storage moves these edges.

Where your brew records live
How do I move my journal to another device?
Export it as JSON from this page and import that file on the other device. Browser storage does not sync on its own and is not a backup.
What happens if I clear my browser data?
The journal goes with it. Export first if you want to keep it — browsers can also evict storage on their own when space is short.
What does comparing two records show?
Only the variables that actually differ between them, so a comparison points at what changed rather than restating everything that stayed the same.
