Storage and consent

Cookies and consent

CupTune separates product storage, cookieless measurement and advertising-provider storage.

Functional product storage

IndexedDB stores recipes, brew records, preferences and an active timer session. Cache Storage keeps the authored application shell and routes available offline. These browser features provide the service you request; they are not cross-site tracking. CupTune sets no account or advertising cookie of its own. Clearing site data removes both the local journal and offline files, so export records first.

Cookieless analytics

Self-hosted Umami sets no analytics cookie or browser identifier and honours Do Not Track. Its closed event bridge accepts one allowed event name and no properties. Disabling Do Not Track or blocking the collector does not affect the tools.

Advertising is currently inactive

Every ad unit identifier is empty, so no AdSense library, cookie or advertising request is made. A future approved activation may let Google and its certified consent platform use cookies or similar storage only under the applicable consent or privacy choice. Refusal must remain as easy as acceptance and leaves every calculator, timer, recipe and journal feature usable.

Changing a decision

After advertising is activated, use the provider privacy control to refuse or withdraw the applicable choice. You can also enable Global Privacy Control where supported, contact support with the subject “Privacy request”, block third-party requests or clear browser data.
