One variable for the next brew

Coffee dial-in guide

Taste is preference, not a defect code. The coach separates strength from extraction only where the selected evidence permits.

Method
What did you notice?

Strength is not extraction

Strength is the concentration measured as TDS; extraction yield combines beverage mass, TDS and dose. Current SCA Brewing Chart research also shows that sensory attributes do not fit one universal sour/under or bitter/over zone. The coach is a transparent preference heuristic, not a diagnosis.

Conflict is an answer

If symptoms oppose each other, CupTune asks for another controlled brew instead of manufacturing a confident adjustment.

Questions before the next brew

Does CupTune upload my brew journal?

No. Recipes, timer state, bean details, measurements and notes stay in this browser unless you explicitly export a file.

Does CupTune decide whether coffee tastes correct?

No. It keeps measurements comparable and suggests one controlled change; taste remains your preference.

Can I use the tools offline?

After one successful load, the application shell and authored routes are cached. Advertising, analytics and email links can be unavailable without blocking the tools.

Why does extraction yield require TDS?

Extraction yield needs a measured dissolved-solids value. CupTune will not invent one from roast, colour, method or taste.
